FINDING LILLIAN

After creating Just For One Day, I sought a second filmmaking experience that would take me deeper into the unknown. I met Lillian Claire Love on Facebook. Her commercial appeal scared me. I reached out to her. In the interim, I worried if audiences would connect with her. I worried if audiences would judge me. I reached to other potential subjects, but those resulted to dead-ends. By the time Lillian responded, I knew she was the right choice. Doing a film with her terrified me, and for this reason, I had to follow through.

When I met Lillian in person at a Starbucks in Redondo Beach, my fears washed away. She came with a vision to shoot a film about feminine self-pleasure. She found her filmmaker. I found my next film. We found a soul family in one another.
